Say now, that's the best news I heard for a long while.  Good job!  Thanks for letting me know.  I noticed in the last Retiree newsletter that the Board is trying to think of ways to encourage new membership (and retain the membership they have).  I can think of a damn good way to do this:  Use the club, and other salaried retiree clubs, as a cohesive platform to put GM on notice that we are not going to sit idly by any longer and watch out benefits dwindle to nothing.  Especially when we see the hourly retirees retaining benefits AND receiving bonuses!  I think we have all been good little boys and girls long enough.  It is time to stand up and be counted.
