CLUB PAYS TRIBUTE
TO ONE OF ITS’ OWN
On April 15th, Club President Larry
Doyle presented a plaque to Deborah Horstik, Executive Director of the
R.E.Olds Museum, along with a donation in honor of John Powers in the
amount of $1,000.00. In attendance at the presentation were his beloved
wife Ann and one of his sons, John III. He was a 2-time Club president
and Ex-Officio Past President. He will be sorely missed by us all.
The plaque
reads: “Presented in John’s Memory to the R.E. Olds Transportation
Museum by the GM Lansing Salaried Retirees Club on April 15, 2010 In
recognition of his years of dedication and principled leadership in
service of his fellow General Motors Retirees”.
