2008 SUMMER SOCIALS

Once again our summer socials were very successful.  A total of 158 people (76 in June and 82 in July) were in attendance.  The course was in fine shape, the weather was a little rainy in June, but couldn't have been nicer in July, but everyone seemed to have a good time at both events. At the July event, we introduced a 50/50 raffle, which was quite a success.  It will continue to be a part of the events in the future.  As you know, your participation is what makes for a successful event.  Thanks to all of you who came and enjoyed the two events.

A big note of thanks to GMAC (Bill Carr), the Eldorado Golf Course (Norm Hatt and Mike Bell), and the Centennial Acres Golf Course (Chuck Lane) for the prizes.  And more thanks to Fred Kane, Larry Koster, Dick Schairer, and Don Sokoloski for all your help in making the summer socials go as smoothly as they did.

The 21st Annual Business Meeting will be held at the MSU Kellogg Center.
Note: Ramp parking is FREE

Social Hour will be on the East patio,  with cash bar from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM. 
Lunch follows at 1:00 PM in the RED CEDAR ROOM.

This year's speaker will be James Cotter, Director of Admissions at Michigan State University.

A brief business meeting and the election of officers will follow.
