The National Retiree Legislative Network (NRLN) is inviting retirees, spouses and friends to attend one of two NRLN Florida Grassroots Forum sessions on March 25 in Sarasota. Emails have been sent using the NRLN's Grassroots Network Capwiz Database.

We want to make you aware of the Forum and ask that you spread the word as appropriate. If you are able to attend, that's even better.

We are erring on the side of over-communicating because this is an important event and a chance to further the causes of retiree issues through education, networking and generating additional support.

For those able to attend, the NRLN is seeking volunteers to assist with logistics, welcoming attendees, sign-in, etc., on March 25th. Volunteers can sign up to help at nrlnmessage@msn.com. Be sure to include your name, email address and phone number.

WHY:	NRLN and Retiree Association leaders from Chrysler, General Motors, Kodak, Alcatel-Lucent, AT&T and possibly others will be there to hear your concerns and respond to your questions.

Agenda:

• NRLN proposals to protect pension and health care benefits

• NRLN plans to thwart suggested Social Security and Medicare cuts

• NRLN proposals to bring down cost of prescription drugs.

• NRLN's proposals and efforts to reform bankruptcy laws, PBGC rules and protect retirees' benefits during corporate mergers and acquisitions

If you are able to attend, please choose morning or afternoon session as soon as possible as space is limited.
