  Treasurer Bond reported $26,107.81 in the treasury including prepaid membership dues.
He asked for approval of the following checks:

Motion to approve J. Fox, F. Kane. Motion approved.
John is reviewing CD to determine if one should be cashed in.
L. Parker said no more money was needed for July golf outing. Report to follow.
Next Newsletter deadline is July 30th with mailing August 6th per Don Sokoloski

Committee  Reports:  
 

Membership Chair F. Kane reported 3 new or returning members. July 8 Renewal Notices will be mailed. Currently 964 paying members with 10 Lifetime members. Printers will do mailing of renewals.

  Web Site No new activity per Don Sokoloski
  Nominating Committee: L. Doyle reported next year nominations are on track. Shirley Sanborn said the coming year will be her last year as secretary. L. Parker has volunteered for the job. Dick Schairer has agreed to remain on the board for the coming year. We need to look for replacements.
  NRLN: J. Fox reported group is reviewing current legislation. Doctors Medicare reduction of 21% was postponed until 6-18. Private insurance costs are still going up. Small businesses dropping insurance coverage. Higher deductibles coming next year. Cutting drug cost, imports but cost still going up.
  Over The Hill Auto Group: Marv reported no new activity.
  June Golf Outing: L. Parker reported a final balance of $289.33. These funds will be used for the July outing. Larry was congratulated for obtaining numerous "free" prizes. No fee raising is necessary per President Doyle.
 

Planned Outings: L. Lennon said due to low turnout any future plant tours should be discussed this fall.
Plans are underway to have the Fall Picnic at the Museum on September 28th from 1:00 to 4:00 PM with Club furnishing soft drinks. We should have volunteers to sign up new members. Parking was discussed but no decision was made. An item should be included in the August Newsletter. Motion was made by Bob Benezette, 2nd by L. Lennon to have the club pay for refreshments. Motion approved.

 

Annual Meeting: Bob Benezette has not decided on a speaker. He has received suggestions on a Habitat Attorney or Ingham County Drain Commissioner. It is planned to start the luncheon in the patio area.

   
  No new or unfinished business was reported.
   
  Motion to adjourn at 11:00 AM. Motion approved.
