GMRA SURVEY RESULTS
DECEMBER, 2011

GMRA, General Motors Retirees Association, thanks you for your participation in the November, 2011 survey. There was almost a 40% response, which is tremendously high response rate. The survey shows that many retirees are concerned with protection of their pension fund. In addition, many GM retirees were concerned with the reduction of their promised “Life Insurance” and the loss of the “Class ‘A” discount on General Motor vehicles.

1936 Pontiac assembly line... When America built things. Way before OSHA...!

Classic footage. Fascinating video. There's no narration; but, you don't really need it. This was pretty cool to see the old days way when.... No safety issues for the workers back then. Just think about this when U watch this, there were no PLCs everything was Relays, Pneumatic, or Hydraulic logic. Notice every man had a neat haircut, and they knew how to wear their pants... Excellent footage. More automation in 1936 than I thought. Imagine doing this every day for 30-40 years?
