Amazing find...
Ever see a "1948 TUCKER
up-close?
TAKE A
LOOK
When finished close the Window to
return here.
Comments from Fred Kane:
Some us remember the Tucker, never saw it on the road but their showroom
was in East Lansing on the corner of Harrison Road and Michigan Avenue
where the Harrison Road House is now located. It was once Sellhorn's
Trailer Sales. I only saw it (The
Tucker) thru the window but it was
quite an advancement in automotive design for that time.

You have heard stories of barn
finds before. Some sound incredible, some unbelievable. But here's one that
might top 'em all. It's the true story of one 1940 Dodge Deluxe Sedan.

Another find from Don Sokoloski
Although it is not member owned, it is of significant interest to
include in our ReCOLLECTION.
The world's rarest automobile. A 1954 concept Olds
Rocket F88 -
the only one in existence.

pictures)

We have a new entry brought to our attention by Don
Sokoloski.
Although it is not member owned, it is of significant interest to
include in our ReCOLLECTION.
Mr. Allen Swift (Springfield, MA.) received this 1928
Rolls-Royce Piccadilly P1 Roadster from his father, brand new - as a
graduation gift in1928. He drove it up until his death last year.....at the
age of 102 !!!
He was the oldest living owner of a car from new. Just
thought you'd like to see it. He donated it to a Springfield museum after
his death.
It has 170,000 miles on it, still runs like a Swiss
watch, dead silent at any speed and is in perfect cosmetic condition. (82
years) Just thought
you would find this of interest....

Our very
first entry is from Neil Miller. It was his first Oldsmobile, a
1952, 98. Check out the car and a VERY young Mr. Miller

"It was my first Oldsmobile. You may
want to mention that the other car I owned at the time was a 1937 Terraplane
Hudson. Back in 1960, I owned two cars! Just like I do today... ", Neil
Miller - 12/15/09 |
